Juntos Avanzamos is the national designation for credit unions that are committed to serving and strengthening the Hispanic consumer. North Jersey Federal Credit Union is dedicated to being an immigrant-friendly institution that provides financial education and support with products and services relevant to the Hispanic immigrant community. This designation allows us to serve a large Hispanic population that currently can not bank at other financial institutions because they do not have traditional forms of identification and are often vulnerable to predatory financial service providers.
At North Jersey Federal, we truly believe in the value of providing access to affordable financial education and financial services to our low-income Hispanic membership, which is key to providing more opportunities and a better quality of life.
The designation of Juntos Avanzamos has been granted to 64 credit unions in the United States. North Jersey Federal Credit Union is the first New Jersey credit union to receive this important designation.
