We offer a comprehensive line of Financial Services and Products to meet the growing financial needs of our members with great rates and low fees.

Our goal is to enable NJFCU members to have financial freedom and to empower our communities to achieve their goals.

At NJFCU, we recognize members can’t always get to a branch to do their banking. That’s why we are part of the CO-OP network, giving our members access to their accounts at over 30,000 Surcharge-Free ATMs and 5,000+ Shared Branches Nationwide.

Our Mission

“Our mission is to build relationships with the people and communities we serve. We strive to be your primary financial institution to improve your life.”

What is a Credit Union?

A Credit Union is a nonprofit financial institution that’s owned by the Members who use its financial products. Credit Union Members can access the same kinds of Products and Services as offered by a traditional bank, such as Credit Cards, Checking Accounts, Savings Accounts, Online/Mobile Banking, Loans and Mortgages.

Members elect a board of directors to manage the Credit Union to ensure that their best interests are represented. Member Savings Accounts are Federally insured up to $250,000 by the NCUA – National Credit Union Administration and additional $250,000 by ESI Insurance, totaling $500,000. The Share Insurance provided by the NCUA is similar to the Deposit Insurance Coverage that the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) offers to banks.
