Recently North Jersey Federal Credit Union successfully funded a commercial loan for 220 Passaic Street Associates.  The company, which is family owned, is in the process of renovating a 19th century factory space into multi-use commercial space, in Passaic, NJ.

“We knew that we wanted to work with a local business for our financing needs,” noted David Einhorn, one of the building’s owners. “With our building in a redevelopment zone in Passaic, and several successful businesses already operating, we knew our situation was a bit unique. North Jersey worked with us to come up with a loan that meets our needs all the way around. I doubt we would have had the same success with a larger bank.”

The property currently has a custom furniture showroom open to the public, along with the factory on-site. And, there is a catering and event space that can accommodate groups from 20-20,000.

Richard Garcia, Chief Growth Officer at North Jersey Federal Credit Union knew right away that helping the Einhorn family obtain a commercial loan would work. “The Credit Union wants to help meet the financial needs of local businesses in the communities we serve. We worked with the Einhorns to create a loan package that successfully meets their goals.”
